CHW Workforce Development

The Arizona Community Health Workers Association stands as a key catalyst in elevating the impact of Community Health Workers (CHWs) through its specialized workforce development trainings. Our comprehensive programs include training modules on Advocacy, empowering CHWs to become effective advocates for the communities they serve. The focus on Social Determinants of Health equips CHWs with a nuanced understanding of the factors influencing community well-being, enabling them to address health disparities at their root. Additionally, our training on Equity & Policy provides CHWs with the tools and knowledge necessary to navigate complex policy landscapes, ensuring they can actively contribute to creating more equitable healthcare systems. AzCHOW's commitment to empowering CHWs through these targeted trainings reflects our dedication to advancing community health outcomes across Arizona.
