HB 2324 Assigned to 2 Committees in the Senate

After a resounding victory in the Arizona House of Representatives for HB 2324 Voluntary Certification for Community Health Workers, the bill has been assigned to two different committees in the Arizona Senate. HB 2324 was assigned to the Health and Human Services Committee, which is chaired by Senator Heather Barto, and the Commerce and Public Safety Committee, which is chaired by Senator Steve Smith.

Last year, the Community Health Worker Voluntary Certification Bill stalled in the Senate because it was not put on a committee agenda.

The first step is to get HB 2324 on the committee agenda. You can help by contacting Sens. Barto and Smith  and encouraging them to hear HB 2324 Voluntary Certification for Community Health Workers in their committees.
