HB 2324 Passed the Arizona House of Representatives

On the evening of February 21, 2018, HB 2324 Voluntary Certification for Community Health Workers passed the Arizona House of Representatives with a vote of 56 yes to 1 no. You can see the results of the voting here and watch a video of the vote here.

Thanks to everyone for your ongoing support of HB 2324! We are especially appreciative of Representative Carter, who has been an amazing champion for community health workers in Arizona.

Please take a moment to thank your Representative for their vote. HB 2324 will now move to the Senate, an we will keep you updated as we learn more about next steps.

In 2017, the voluntary certification bill passed out of the house with a vote of 41 yes to 17 no but stalled in the Senate.
